Final List: INEC announces date for  presidential, national assembly candidates

The final list of Presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates for the 2023 general election will be released on September 20, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed. The Commission explained that the publication of the list of candidates for the national election is in compliance with section 32(1) of the Electoral Act 2022. It said the final list for governorship and House of Assembly elections will be published on October 4.
