The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the Labour Party(LP) and its supporters not to converge at the Lekki toll gate for their #Obidatti23 Forward Ever Rally billed to hold on October 1, 2022. Justice Daniel Osiagor, who made the order, did not stop the supporters from holding the rally in Lagos State. Immigration urges applicants to claim 29,095 uncollected passports

The Passport Control Officer, Ikoyi, Deputy Comptroller of Immigration, O. O Ayegbusi, has revealed that not less than 29,095 passports remained uncollected at the passport office, urging applicants to come for the collection. The PCO, who spoke with The Punch on Tuesday, said passports of applicants who had applied before July 2022 were available for collection. Ayegbusi noted that the Ikoyi passport office had cleared the backlog from 2021 as it now produces an average of 500 passports daily. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Tuesday destroyed the 1.8 tons of cocaine seized in a Lagos warehouse on September 18. In a statement issued on Tuesday, chairman of the agency, Mohammed Buba Marwa, said the Federal High Court in Lagos ordered the burning of the seized drugs.
