Operatives of the security outfit of former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, have intercepted an illegal vessel loaded with crude oil in Delta State. According to a report by Gbaramatu Voice News on Sunday, the crude oil tanker, was loaded with an unspecified quantity of crude oil at the Escravos River in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, when it was intercepted on Thursday. Dr Ibrahim Aminu Kurami, a member representing Bakori Local Government Area in Katsina State House of Assembly on Monday died in Saudi Arabia. Daily Trust reports that the lawmaker had gone to Saudi to perform Umrah. A family source said he died after a brief illness in Madinah at around 2am Nigerian time. He left behind two wives, 11 children and three grandchildren. Kurami was elected into Katsina State House of Assembly in a by-election conducted on October 31, 2020, following the death of his predecessor, Hon. Abdurrazak Ismail Tsiga.
