The Federal Government yesterday took its case against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu to the Supreme Court. It has asked the apex court to stay the execution of the October 13 Court of Appeal judgment that freed the leader of the separatist group. Pandemonium broke out at the popular Alaba International market in Lagos this morning October 19, as traders clashed with area boys. The Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia has adjourned to October 21 the suit seeking to nullify the May 25 Abia State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary.
