The people of Alayi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State have commended the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for the ongoing rural transformation of the community through the opening of access roads. Nasir El-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, has jokingly threatened to arrest and detain the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over an incident that took place in Anambra while the latter was governor of the state. Suspected political thugs have attacked supporters of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar at the ongoing campaign rally in Kaduna State. The former vice president confirmed this in a post on his verified social media handles on Monday.
