A former national publicity secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has resigned his membership of the party, noting that he would be involved henceforth in non-partisan politics. The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has stated that it has commenced the deduction of taxes at transaction points from Online Gaming Transactions using the Sentinal National Payment Gateway and Electronic Solution. A federal high court in Umuahia, Abia state, has ordered the federal government to return Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to Kenya.
