The Independent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday said it will conduct governorship elections for Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states on November 11, 2023. Unidentified gunmen on Friday attacked the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman along the Benin Auchi Road, Edo State, and allegedly killed seven persons including three policemen. The Punch gathered that Suleman returned from a foreign trip and was heading to a destination in Edo State when the gunmen attacked his convoy around the Auchi area of the state. Tunde Mark, first son of former Senate President, Senator David Mark, is dead. According to Daily Sun, a family source said that Tunde died in the early hours of Friday in London, the United Kingdom.
