A Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has annulled the gubernatorial primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) held in the State on May 26, 2022. In a suit number FHC/UY/144/2022, a former aide to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang, had gone to court claiming the APC primary was characterised by several illegalities.
