A teenage girl has been killed by stray bullets around Ojota, Lagos, where the police forcefully dispersed Yoruba nation protesters on Saturday. According to residents, the victims was killed by bullets fired by policemen who dispersed protesters. Witnesses said the deceased simply identified as Jumoke was getting set for the day’s activities at a store where she sold drinks when she was hit by stray bullets. Gunshots have been fired by policemen present at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos as the Yoruba nation rally begins. This was after the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, addressed journalists at the venue saying no rally is allowed in Lagos. However, some Yoruba nation agitators dared the security operatives by spreading banners and flyers to announce their arrival and presence.
