100-level student of Nasarawa State University commits suicide over deep emotions and depression

A 100-level female student of the Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi, Maikeffi Redemption Sarah has reportedly committed suicide, by consuming a poisonous substance. Sarah, 21 years old, fourth and last born of the family, and an undergraduate of Microbiology was said to have killed herself due to deep emotions and depression. The incident was said to have occurred on Friday evening at an off-campus lodge near Family and Friends Hotel area, opposite Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Abia state govt denies spending N927m on meals

The Abia State Government has described as false reports that the state governor, Alex Otti, spent over N900 million on feeding and welfare from July to September 2023. Media reports have it that Otti spent N927 million within three months on refreshments/meals, settlement of honorarium, allowances, and welfare packages. FCTA demolishes Abuja market near Wike’s residence in Asokoro

The officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, on Tuesday demolished an illegal market called “Kasuwan Dare”, near the residence of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Asokoro, Abuja. The market was located at Hassan Musa Katsina Street, near Kpaduma II in Asokoro Extension, Abuja.
