The Amaekpu Ohafia community in Ohafia local council of Abia state, has raised the alarm over gully erosion sweeping away homes and farmlands in the area. Soldier Kills 28-Year-Old Man In Abia Community A soldier allegedly killed a 28-year-old man, Chinonso Nwachukwu in the Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State after accusing him of blocking their way. Shanties at the Ebute Meta area of Lagos State are currently on fire. According to Punch, hundreds of structures were affected. Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that the fire started Wednesday morning at Kano by Coates Street, near Okobaba sawmill. It was also learnt that many residents were injured.
