Social crusader, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has mocked former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, over his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was earlier reported that the former minister officially has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling APC.
He was officially received by President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party at the presidential villa.
Reacting to his defection in a chat with THE WHISPERER, Eholor who is the Global President of civil society group, One Love Foundation, said former President Olusegun Obasanjo was right in his comment about Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode.
He said, “recall that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was the one who refered to the former Minister as his boy saying, “provide him food, he will eat and then sing for you. He’s a smart boy”.
“Nigerians should not take him seriously. He is unstable and cannot be trusted. Just two years ago when there were reports that he had returned to APC, Fani-Kayode said he would rather die than do so.
“It is difficult to trust characters like him. People who put their stomach above the general interest of the nation. Former President Obasanjo was very right about him person. So I’m not surprised,” he said.
