Rochas Anayo Okorocha, Senator representing Imo West senatorial district and former governor of Imo state, is not suspended from the APC, his aide (name withheld)  has told THE WHISPERER.

“Kindly disregard all the rumours, just rumours,” he told THE WHISPERER.

An aide to Uche Nwosu, Darlington Ibekwe also denied the rumours.

He posted on facebooks: “FAKE NEWS!!!

“There is no National Working Committee in APC, what we have is a caretaker committee, Chairman and Secretary don’t sign together.

“Ndi Igbo, is this how we would get presidency??? Kai!.”

Okorocha’s reported suspension has been trending on facebook.

It was also reported by a number of websites.

However, THE WHISPERER understands that Okorocha is having a running battle with Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state.

The former Imo state governor was at the APC National Secretariat last week to make a case for Danial Nwafor, whom he described as the authentic Chairman of the party in Imo State.

According to him, any action that does not take cognizance of Daniel Nwafor as the Chairman is entirely illegal.

He was accompanied by other leaders of the APC in Imo including Sen. Ifeanyi Ararume, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, Rt. Hon. Ozb, Hon. Pascal Obi, Sir Jude Ejiogu, among others.

While Hope Uzodinma is laying claims to a faction of the party that has Nlemigbo as its Chairman, Sen. Okorcha parades another faction of the party with Daniel Nwafor as the Chairman.

Among those supporting Okorocha are the Governorship Candidate of the APC In Imo during the last guber election Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, a former Senator, Ararume, All serving APC house of reps members, with exception to only one member, Hon. Chike Okafor, members of the State Assembly, amongst others.

Hope Uzodinma on the other hand seems to have lost the support of real APC members in Imo, hence He is committed to wooing food is ready opposition politicians into his fold.
