We’ve reclaimed 2,000-km cattle grazing routes – Kastina Govt
THE Special adviser to Governor Aminu Masari on Livestock and Grazing Reserves, Dr Lawal Bagiwa, on Sunday revealed that the state had reclaimed its cattle routes.
Bagiwa said in an interview in Katsina that the state government had already reclaimed the routes before President Muhammadu Buhari gave the order to that effect.
He said, “We already have a committee here, which has already worked by remarking the routes, which have been gazetted.”
He added that the state had already reclaimed over 2,000 kilometers of cattle routes across the state, which were marked out with beacons.
