Popular political pressure group, the Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) Grassroots Movement of Nigeria for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has forwarded a congratulatory message to Mr. Peter Eze on his appointment as one of the Commissioners in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Eze, an economist who hails from Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area, was appointed to represent Enugu State in the FCC. The group, in a message signed by the Convener and National Leader, Alhaji Muritala Mohamed alias Ten Ten, and Secretary-General, Dr. Ejike Nwangwu, described the choice of Eze for the FCC as well-deserved because he has what it takes to serve at that level.
While explaining that President Tinubu made the right choice with Eze, the group expressed hope that Eze will bring his youthful energy to bear in the discharge of his duties and ensure a good job, knowing fully well that the youth in general, and the good people of Enugu State in particular, are looking up to him for quality representation.
The group went further to note, with evidence, that the choice of a youthful Eze in the midst of a large number of older people in Enugu State goes a long way to show that President Tinubu is a youth-friendly leader who doesn’t just believe in the youth but also moves along with them.
“Yeah, Eze is the right choice, and President Tinubu has once more proved that he is a youth-friendly leader, and we have to appreciate Mr. President for that. Let’s use this medium to advise Eze to ensure a good job, knowing fully well that the youth in general, and the good people of Enugu State in particular, are looking up to him for good representation,” the group added.
