The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, accompanied by his two sons, visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos during the Christmas season.
Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, shared the news on his Facebook handle early Friday morning.
“The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, alongside his sons, paid Christmas Homage to the President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in Lagos, yesterday,” Olayinka said.
The Whisperer also sighted former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu in the pictures shared by Mr Olayinka.
Recently, during his inaugural media chat, President Tinubu lauded Wike as a “good man” and a “performing minister,” emphasising his trust in the minister’s capability to deliver results.
The statement was seen as a strong endorsement amid criticisms of Wike’s bold reforms in the FCT.
