Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, (NACJ, is set to recognize the good leadership of OTUNBA KEHINDE ADEOLA OLOYEDE AL- MAROOF with the Prestigious, MOST OUTSTANDING INTEGRITY LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN AWARD in Lagos State. This was contained in the Press Statement signed by the National President of the Association, Dr Charles Okhai. According to the Dr Charles Okhai, OTUNBA KEHINDE ADEOLA OLOYEDE AL- MAROOF emerged the most deserving candidate for the Award after a meticulous scrutiny of five others nominated for the Award.
OTUNBA KEHINDE , is a true son of the soil born to the prestigious AL-MAROOF DYNASTY in Oshodi. He had his early education in Oshodi which gave him the real grassroot experience. His mother was the former IYA OLOJA GENERAL OF OSHODI LAND and the first female councillor representing Oshodi under Old Mushin Local Government.
He is the CEO OF KENNYDOO INVESTMENTS NIG LTD and also the CEO KENNYDOO AUTOS and presently the Chairman Oshodi Isolo Local Government. As result of his prowess in business management and entrepreneurship skills, In 2003. OTUNBA KEHINDE ADEOLA OLOYEDE AL-MAROOF is the first Indigenous Bussines man that brought in Chinese investors to Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area to open up our market space for trade and investment to strive.
As an experienced developer and a civil engineer, He single handedly constructed the link road Marcathy Lane in Oshodi with street lights in order to help ease the flow of traffic and to connect streets together. He also constructed 3 commercial capacity borehole for the people of his constituents all these are done before he was elected as the chairman of oshodi isolo local government chairman.
OTUNBA KEHINDE ADEOLA OLOYEDE AL-MAROOF is a grassroots man and team player per excellent. A pioneer member of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government when it was founded in 1999 and a member of All Progressive Congress (APC) till date.
Otunba kehinde Oloyede Al-maroof was elected and sworn in on July 29, 2021 as the executive chairman of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government. In his quest to serve the good people of oshodi in line with fulfilling his manifestoe, his administration has brought in tremendous and unprecedented changes and great development in Oshodi community which is obvious to all.
The Award will be conferred on him at the 2024 NACJ Annual INTEGRITY CONFERENCE slated for Saturday October 26 at SHERATON HOTEL IKEJA LAGOS. The Annual INTEGRITY LECTURE and AWARDS Conference is organized by Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists to sensitive leaders across the board to imbibe the spirit of Integrity and Patriotism for the developmental progress of the country.
