FOSAD mourns the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, senator representing Anambra South

The Forum of South-East Academic Doctors (FOSAD) is saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the distinguished Senator representing Anambra South and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream. His untimely passing on July 27, 2024 has left a void in the hearts of Nigerians, particularly in the South-East region.

Senator Ubah was a visionary leader, a passionate advocate for the welfare of his constituents, and a champion of sustainable development. His commitment to the growth and prosperity of Anambra State and the nation at large was evident in his tireless efforts to promote entrepreneurship, education, and economic empowerment.

As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream, Senator Ubah played a crucial role in shaping policies and legislation that impacted the lives of millions of Nigerians. His expertise and leadership helped to stabilize the petroleum sector, ensuring a steady supply of petroleum products and mitigating the effects of price volatility.

FOSAD mourns the loss of a great leader, a devoted public servant, and a true son of the South-East. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, the initiatives he championed, and the positive impact he made on the nation.
