A Bill seeking the establishment of a Federal Medical Centre, FMC, in Ohafia Abia state on Wednesday scaled the first reading in the House of Representatives.
The bill was sponsored by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, member representing Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency.
Hon. Osonwa said it was in response to the yearnings of his constituents in Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency.
He said: “Federal Medical Centre Ohafia Establishment Bill 2023 (HB257) will create revenue, give massive employment, development, and, most importantly, promote quality health care to the Constituency.”
