The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has enlisted Kalu, Prince-Iroha as the Candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He was enlisted after the December 5, 2022 judgement of Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Kalu, Prince-Iroha, A Professional Social Worker, Research and Learning Consultant, was born into the family of Chief Dr. Iroha Kalu Ukoha of Nde Umezema Compound Abia Ohafia. He holds Graduate and Post-Graduate Degrees from the University of Calabar, Nigeria; Prior to that, he attended Riverside Primary School and Sacred Heart College (SAHARCO) all in Aba. He is a member of The International Network of Social Workers; The Network for Social Work Management; Social Problem Amelioration Institute; and a Licensee and an International Master Trainer of the Applied Scholastics International, St. Louis, Missouri USA.
Reacting to the Candidacy of Prince-Iroha, the Abia State Governorship Candidate of African Action Congress; Chief Bond Ohuche expressed his gratefulness to the National Leadership of AAC and INEC as he believes that Prince-Iroha will be victorious in the forth-coming election having seen his plans and strategies.
Also speaking, the Campaign Spokesperson of Team Endless Possibilities (Prince-Irohas Campaign team), Sir Diam Igwe stated that Kalu, Prince-Iroha believes in Good governance; Human capital development (with great emphasis on Education, Health, Agriculture, Sports, Entrepreneurship, Youths and Women Empowerment, ICT and Infrastructural development), and Public-Private Partnership for Economic growth and Development. He stated that the intra party leadership crisis of African Action Congress has greatly affected the campaign plans and strategies of Team Endless Possibilities, but still of great view that the team will maximize the remaining 57days to ensure that we get to the nooks and cranies of our Constituency.
When contacted, Kalu, Prince-Iroha expressed his gratitude to God and as well thank the National and State leadership of AAC for their support and believe in his candidacy. He expressed that his desire is to put his people first in all his activities. He stated that Endless and Infinite possibilities are eminent. Positive change has come.
“I have over the years appraised our political environment and have come to the inevitable conclusion that we deserve a more Definitive, Dependable, Devoted, Efficient, Dynamic, Purposeful, People-oriented, Reliable and Result oriented representation in the Federal House of Representatives. I have decided to take up the weighty but worthy task of serving my people; that will put the communal destiny of our people on the right track to growth, resilience and development. I will focus on bills that have direct positive effects on the lives, growth, progress and wellbeing of our people. No community triumph without adequate security. To this end, we will liaise with relevant groups to ensure that the security of our people, businesses, resources, etcetera are guaranteed. Our strongest asset is our human resources, we will ensure its development by focusing on the Youths and as well as taking care of the elderly through our Public Private Partnership project. We have a detailed implementation plan on how to enhance the functioning of our people when elected. We believe in Endless Possibilities!!”
