APPRECIATION AND APOLOGY
“In expressing my appreciation for the thunderous felicitations that poured in on the occasion of my 69th birthday, words indeed elude me. The messages, laced with solemn wishes, prayers and show of love are indicative of our believe in God Almighty as the life giver, protector and provider. Your messages and calls, aptly conveyed and confirms my aged long affirmation on the imperativeness of our collective and impactful contributions to the development of the good people of our communities, societies and mankind – across race, religion, and tribe.
“The trajectory in our pursuit of such noble ideals may differ, and nonetheless, they may sometimes seem to ignore salient sensibilities that we have momentarily bonded with. Our narratives and conversational contributions to national development as a people, communities and societies remains dynamic. Our long-time existence in our various communities and societies predates our foray into these new divergent political blocks and affiliations that hopefully will someday provide opportunities for us all to expressively promote good governance- this remains the panacea for a great nation.
“Moving forward, I thank Almighty God who has granted me several rare life opportunities till date as I pray for many more years in good health . I offer to remain purposefully engaging in the collective desire to impact our society while taking cognizance of everyone’s sensibility and diversity in approach to this common goal. I humbly wish to seize the opportunity of my new age to apologize to everyone and anyone I might have inadvertently impinged on his or her political sensitivity while I remain committed to my very own political convictions and objectivity. We shall be winners once we tenaciously hold dear to our beliefs and conviction without turning our divergent opinions to hurtful ways for our communities and the society at large.
“Once more, please accept my profound appreciation, assurances, regards, and apologies.
“ISHINKA OHAFIA
NkaaGe Eme, K’anyi Kesandu!”
