The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia state says it has decided to zone the govenroship seat to Abia north and central senatorial zones for equity and fairness.
The publicity secretary of the party in Abia state, Fabian Nwankwo, while addressing newsmen in Umuahia, said the zoning has become imperative considering the rising agitations from these two senatorial zones.
He said the party took time to review the agitations as it would want to consider zones where the party has more supports.
He therefore urged the two zones to work together and bring out the best governorship candidate for the party.
