GOV. AYADE SWEARS IN PRESIDENT OF UNICROSS ALUMNI, PAUL AGWU AS MEMBER OF UNICROSS GOVERNING COUNCIL
Earlier today at about 11:40am, the national President of UNICROSS Alumni, Comrade Agwu Paul Adugba was sworn in as a member of UNICROSS Governing council by the representative of the Governor, Commissioner for Education Hon. Godwin Amanke. In a convivial event which took place on the 27th January, 2022.
The National President was accompanied by the SA to the Governor of on budget, Hon. Otu Otuita along with other notable alumnus.
High point was the administration of oath of office by the Hon. Commissioner. The newest Council member offered his acceptance speech and many goodwill messages followed.
In his acceptance speech, comrade Agwu assured the Hon. commissioner of good ambassadorial representation. He also promised to contribute to the overall attainment of the State’s policy on Education. He went further to reassure all alumnus of equal rights not minding the year of graduation.
In the same vein, Comrade Agwu reaafirmed his readiness to serve the association selflessly.
On the other hand, the SA on budget Hon. Otu, louded Hon. Amanke for his sagacity, friendliness and attention on things considered expedient.
On his part, the Hon. commissioner charged the newly sworn in council member to continue striving in the same spirit and consistency of of state government, resilience and adhered to constituted authority while discharging his duties in the governing of the association and institution at large.
He further encouraged Comrade Paul to uphold the tenet of internal democracy, and to display high sense of responsibility in all ways, as this will smoothen his four (4) years stay in office.
Worthy of note is that the swearing in of Comrade. AGWU PAUL into the University Governing council have continued to attract goodwill messages and support for the leadership of the association.
All peace loving alumnus are enjoined to get on board and contribute to the very salient task of building a better association.
