Amb. Osita Offor, UAAP Celebrate Uche Ogah at Birthday
Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor and members of the United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP) Forum have joined other well-wishers to celebrate the birthday of former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Sampson Uche Ogah.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, Amb. Dr. Offor, popularly known as “De Ultimate Commander,” on behalf of UAAP, described Dr. Ogah as a distinguished public servant whose career has been marked by commitment to national development and community service.
The forum said Dr. Ogah, a foundation member of UAAP, has consistently demonstrated leadership qualities rooted in integrity, discipline and service, noting that his contributions have continued to inspire professionals and youths within Abia State and beyond.
According to the statement, Dr. Ogah’s belief in unity, cultural identity and purposeful engagement informed his early alignment with UAAP, a move the group said reflected his commitment to collective growth and people-centred development.
UAAP also commended the former minister’s tenure in public office, describing his approach to governance as professional and results-driven, with notable contributions to policy direction and institutional strengthening in the solid minerals sector.
