Ambassadorial List: Bishop Eke Hails Tinubu For South-East Inclusiveness, Commends Nomination Of Neya Kalu, Says Church Is Praying For The President

Abia-born cleric and General Overseer of Kingly People’s Assembly, Bishop Silas Eke, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Barr. Neya Uzor Kalu as a non-career ambassador, describing the gesture as “a clear demonstration that the President is not marginalising the South-East.”

Speaking to journalists in Umuahia, the respected cleric said the decision of the President to include multiple nominees from the South-East in the 32-man ambassadorial list is “a bold message of national inclusion, equity, and fairness.”

According to him: “The number of nominees from the South-East shows clearly that President Tinubu is not marginalising our region. People should give credit when it is due. What the President has done is commendable and reassuring.”

Bishop Eke praised the President’s choice of Neya Uzor Kalu, describing her as an exceptional young leader whose credentials speak for her.

“Neya has capacity, a strong CV, good background, and the kind of exposure that represents Nigeria well anywhere in the world. Her nomination didn’t come by accident; she is qualified and deserves it,” he said.

He added that the church is deeply committed to praying for the nation’s leaders, especially President Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

“At Kingly People’s Assembly, we are praying seriously for the President and for Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. God is with both of them. God loves them, and they will serve their tenures successfully as President and Senator and also win their reelections. We are confident in God’s promises,” Bishop Eke declared.

He urged Nigerians to support the government, promote unity, and pray consistently for national peace and progress.
