Abia at 34: Rep Ibe Okwara Osonwa Congratulates Abians, Lauds Gov Otti
The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has congratulated the people of Abia State on the occasion of the state’s 34th anniversary.
In his goodwill message, Osonwa praised the resilience, industry, and unity of Abians, noting that the state has continued to grow stronger since its creation in 1991. He described Abians as a people blessed with abundant human and natural resources whose contributions to national development remain invaluable.
The lawmaker also commended Governor Alex Otti for what he described as purposeful leadership and bold reforms aimed at repositioning the state for sustainable growth and development. According to him, the governor’s people-oriented policies have rekindled hope and restored confidence in governance across the state.
“Abia at 34 is a story of resilience, strength, and progress. As a people, we have weathered challenges and shown the true Abia spirit. I also commend Governor Alex Otti for his visionary leadership which is setting Abia on the path of renewal and prosperity,” Osonwa said.
He urged Abians to continue to support the state government and work together for peace, unity, and development, stressing that collective efforts remain vital to realizing the full potential of the state.
