Labour Party Caretaker Committee NEC Meeting Begins, Obi, Otti, Datti Baba-Ahmed Attend
The National Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party (LP), under the leadership of Senator Nenadi Usman, has commenced its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja.
The event, which is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, has in attendance the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi; his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed; and the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, among other key stakeholders.
In her welcome address, Senator Usman appealed to all party members—especially those from the former National Working Committee (NWC) led by Julius Abure—to sheathe their swords and join hands in the process of rebuilding the party.
