SEDC: APC Umunneochi Congratulates Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Senate Committee Appointment
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Umunneochi LGA, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on his appointment as the Senate Committee Chairman for the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC). The appointment was made by the President of the Senate, His Excellency Senator Godswill Akpabio.
In a statement signed by the APC Umunneochi LGA Chairman, Prince Ugochukwu Ezekwesiri, the party described the appointment as a testament to Senator Kalu’s leadership and credibility. It acknowledged the strategic importance of his new role in overseeing the infrastructural and economic revival of the Southeast region.
The statement noted that Senator Kalu’s appointment as the screening chairman for SEDC board members and his subsequent leadership of the committee is a testament of his capability to drive meaningful development in the region. APC Umunneochi expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on this mandate.
