Tems wins Grammy Award for ‘Best African Music Performance’
Tems has won the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category at the 67th Academy Grammy Awards.
The prestigious award event is underway at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States.
The singer edged out a strong field of nominees, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Davido, Lojay, Burna Boy, and to secure the coveted award.
Tems, who was nominated in three categories, however, lost the ‘Best R&B Song’ award to US singer Sza.
