Rep. Ibe Okwara Osonwa Flags Off Construction Of 3KM Road In Ebem Ohafia
The lawmaker representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has officially flagged off the construction of a 3KM road in Mgbaga, Ebem Ohafia.
Hon. Osonwa, who was represented at the event by the Councillor of Ebem-Oha Ward, Hon. Ukariwe Inyima Uduma, reassured the community that development projects would continue across the constituency. He urged residents of both Arochukwu and Ohafia Local Government Areas to remain patient as projects are executed in phases.
Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoha, the paramount ruler of Ebem Ohafia, emphasized the road’s importance in reducing traffic congestion, especially during festive periods, and noted that it serves as the only route leading to the Ebem Ancestral Village.
Speaking at the event, Chief Dr. Eme Iro, Deputy Chairman of Ohafia Local Government, commended Hon. Osonwa for his commitment to infrastructural development and assured continued efforts to enhance the lives of constituents.
Similarly, Hon. Lochi Ngam, Vice President of the Ebem Ohafia Development Union, expressed appreciation for the project and pledged the community’s full support.
The flag-off ceremony attracted a wide range of stakeholders, including party members, ward councillors, association leaders, and various support groups.
This latest development follows the recent installation of solar-powered streetlights in over 20 communities within the federal constituency, further demonstrating the lawmaker’s commitment to improving infrastructure and community welfare.
