A Letter To Our Brothers And Sisters In Ogbakó Ikwerre And IPOB

Dear Ikwere Igbo and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Groups,

I’m writing to you today with empathy and understanding. We recognize the pain and struggles that have led to the Ikwere group disowning their Igbo identity. We also acknowledge the frustrations that have driven IPOB to disown their Nigerian citizenship in pursuit of a Biafran state.

We understand that these decisions aren’t taken lightly. They’re rooted in a deep sense of historical injustice, marginalization, and trauma. We empathize with the hurt and anger that have been building for generations.

As a Grateful Nation, we’re committed to devoting time to understanding your cause. We want to listen to your stories, learn from your experiences, and acknowledge the injustices that have been perpetrated against you.

Our goal is to work with you to heal from the hurts of the past. We believe that by acknowledging the trauma and pain, we can begin to build a path towards reconciliation, justice, and equality.

We recognize that this won’t be an easy journey. There will be challenges and obstacles along the way. But we’re committed to walking alongside you, listening to your voices, and amplifying your stories.

We strongly feel the presence, the love and the power of CHUKWU OKIKE ABIAMA is behind us in this task of reconciliation and unification. In the days to come, we’ve set out Igbo National Day of Thanksgiving (IN.DOT). The two Day event will feature Cultural exhibition and Solemn Thanksgiving to Chkwu Abiama. Together, we can work towards a future where every individual can proudly claim their identity, culture, and heritage without fear of persecution or marginalization. A future where every voice is heard, every story is told, and every person is treated with dignity and respect.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to engage with you, to listen to your perspectives, and to learn from your experiences. We look forward to working together to build a brighter, more just future for all.

Sincerely,Obadiah Kalu Mbila (Nkumogü Chukwu Okike Abiama)
Lead Shepherd, GRATEFUL NATION GROUP
