Governor Alex Otti of Abia State on Tuesday held a meeting with members of the National Assembly from the state.
The lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha, confirmed the meeting in a text shared on WhatsApp groups seen by The Whisperer.
“Gov Otti with the Abia State National Assembly Caucus.
“One was unavoidably absent.
“We meet periodically. It’s good for Abia,” he wrote.
Abia State has a total of eleven members in the National Assembly, comprising three senators and eight representatives in the House.
In the group photograph posted by Mr. Aguocha, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu (APC, Bende), Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (APGA, Abia South), and Senator Austin Akobundu (PDP, Abia Central) were seen in attendance.
Others present included Hon. Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa (LP, Arochukwu/Ohafia), Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh (APGA, Aba), Hon. Ginger Onwusibe (LP, Isialangwa), Amobi Ogah (LP, Isikwuato/Umunneochi), Chris Nkwonta (APC, Ukwa East/Ukwa West), and Munachim Alozie (LP, Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo).
