Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has officially approved a new minimum wage of N80,000 for workers in the state, effective from October 2024.
The governor made the announcement on his verified Facebook page on Thursday afternoon.
“I have just approved a minimum wage of N80,000 for Enugu workers, effective October 2024.
“We appreciate the hard work and sacrifices of the state’s workforce and will continue to prioritise their welfare in line with our campaign promises.
“Tomorrow is here,” Governor Mbah stated.
