Sir Emmanuel Ndubuisi Mbaka, Managing Director of Platinum Mortgage Bank, is a philanthropist with deep involvement in educational causes at all levels—including the general welfare of Nigerian children, youths and women.
In his remarks during the official unveiling and presentation of the buses to the civil servants, Abia State Commissioner for Transportation, Comrade Sunny Onwuma said the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti was very much appreciative of the gesture by Sir Mbaka.
He noted that the provision of the buses by Sir Mbaka would go a long way to curtail some of the challenges faced by residents of Trademore Estate in Umuahia.
According to the commissioner, Sir Mbaka “has once again demonstrated his regular kind gesture to Abians”, urging others to “emulate” the Isikwuato-born business mogul.
Sir Mbaka who was represented at the unveiling ceremony by the Regional Manager of Platinum Mortgage Bank, Mr. Nkemdirim Chukwueke noted that the donation of the coaster buses was not the first time Mr Mbaka would be involved in such gestures.
According to him, Sir Mbaka has contributed immensely to the welfare of Abians, Ndigbo and Nigerians at large, reiterating that the business mogul would continue to demonstrate his tireless philanthropic acts at all times.
He appealed to the civil servants to judiciously use the coaster buses provided by Sir Mbaka to ease movement.
