Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex MFR,OON “Ugo’Ena” Nde Abiriba, the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area on Monday led contractors to the council secretariat to commence the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the secretariat.
The council boss made this known on social media in a post sighted by The Whisperer on Monday evening.
He said: “I commenced the Christmas celebrations this morning at the council headquarters, in the company of contractors from Lagos who will be involved in the reconstruction of the council headquarters in Ohafia.“
This is coming exactly one month after THE WHISPERER reported the rot and dilapidated state of the council secretariat located at Ebem Ohafia abandoned by then PDP- led government for 16 years.
