Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Etigwe Uwa, on Monday commiserated with the Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, over the death of his wife, Ifeoma Ada Kalu.
Orji Uzor Kalu announced the death of his wife on his verified Facebook page on Monday.
The Senator said his wife died in the U.S.
Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu, who died at age 61, is survived by her husband and four children.
In a statement personally signed by him, Uwa urged Kalu as well as members of his family to trust God for comfort in their time of grief.
“Dear Your Excellency,
Please accept my deepest condolence on the passing of your wife Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu.
I recall meeting several years ago at your Adedoyin Adeleke residence in Victoria Island Lagos. I have good recollections of her as very amiable hospitable and friendly.
“Please accept the best wishes of my family and I. We pray the Almighty God to comfort uphold and support you and members of your family at this time.
“Please take heart and be assured of my deepest consideration.”
