Chief Chinedu Obilor Iyiereoba, popularly known as Fayose of Ohuhu has endorsed the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s reelection bid.
Obilor, who is the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Assembly candidate for Umuahia Central State Constituency, made the endorsement in a video obtained by our correspondent on Friday evening.
He praised Kalu’s outstanding performance within four years as the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, urging his opponents not to waste their money and time contesting against the former Abia state governor.
He commended Senator Kalu for facilitating and constructing rural roads for his constituents, urging the people of Abia North Senatorial District to massively vote for Senator Kalu, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 National Assembly election.
He said: “I am here to comfirm if truly Senator Orji Uzor Kalu constructed any road in Isikwuato. Behold, the people have just confirmed it to me that he constructed roads including the roads I am seeing right here. Look at the solid road with drainage. He constructed a solid road here that I am seeing here. This is just his first tenure as a senator. I am urging those contesting against him to step down; they should not waste their money and time because Orji Uzor Kalu has done very well. He is in APC and I am in APGA; It is not about party but performance. Let him continue for he has done excellently well,” he said.
