President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met the Abia State factional governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ikechi Emenike at the presidential villa.
Emenike was accompanied by his wife and Ambassador of Nigeria to the United States of America, Dr. Uzoma Emenike.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity confirmed the meeting on his official Facebook page on Thursday evening.
He wrote: “President Buhari receives in audience H.E. Dr (Mrs) Uzoma Emenike, Ambassador of Nigeria to the United State of America and her Spouse Abia State APC Gubernatorial Candidate in State House on 12th Jan 2023.”
