A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, on Friday, dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify the governorship candidate of PDP, Siminalaye Fubara, believed to be the anointed candidate of Governor Nyesom Wike.
An aspirant of the PDP, Chief Morgan West, had challenged Fubara’s candidacy.
Morgan alleged that Fubara was not a member of the party and did not have a valid PDP membership card, among other issues.
However, the presiding judge, Justice Adamu T. Mohammed, in his judgment, threw out the suit for incompetence and lack of jurisdiction.
