Scores of community dwellers at Achi Umuhu ward, Bende Local Government area of Abia-North on Monday converged to witness the commissioning ceremony of the motorised borehole project facilitated by their Senatorial representative, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
With loud chants of joy and dancing troops, the entire community filed out to receive Kalu in continuity of his ward assessment tour of Abia-North in accordance with his midterm tour.
The community appreciated Kalu for what they described as qualitative representation of Orji Kalu at the Senate. Though the motive of Kalu’s coming was not premised on the commissioning of the water project , the community dwellers however urged Orji Kalu to use his presence to launch the project.
