A socio-political group, Coalition for Arochukwu Progressives Initiative has lambasted one Onny Igbokwe for trying to blackmail Chief Daniel Okeke – the APC House of Representatives candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election.
The group described the malicious publication against Okeke by Onny Igbokwe as a failed hatchet job describing Igbokwe and his group as “detractors”.
The Deputy Director General of the group, Prince Kalu Kalu in a statement on Monday evening in Umuahia warned Igbokwe to retract his statement or face the wrath of Arochukwu/Ohafia youths.
Part of the statement reads: “Igbokwe and his group should leave our son alone or face the wrath of Arochukwu/Ohafia youths. Okeke is a child of destiny whose time has come. We won’t allow charlatans, serial blackmailers, desperate and failed politicians to pull him down.
“We are warning Igbokwe and his group to shun fraud before criminality consumes them. Any further attempt to blackmail or discredit Okeke would be resisted with full force,”the statement said.
