A frontline governorship aspirant in the 2023 governoship election in Abia State, Mr. Etigwe Uwa (SAN), has hailed Abia workers for their hard-work, commitment and steadfastness, even in the face of lingering unsavoury circumstances.
In a special message marking May Day 2022, signed by him and released in Umuahia, Etigwe Uwa enjoined Abia workers to know that he feels their pains and would do the utmost to better their lots, if given an opportunity to lead the state.
He stated that it is simply cruel and ungodly to owe workers who have families several months of salaries and insensitive to treat pensioners who have devoted all their working lives to the service of the state with such reckless abandonment.
He urged workers to persevere because the period of the redemption and restoration of the state is at hand
