A frontline governorship aspirant in Abia State, Etigwe Uwa (SAN), on Sunday implored Abians to be loving, while imbibing Christlike sacrifice this season of Easter.
Uwa, said that Abians, especially those of the Christian faith, should use the opportunity of the Easter season to reaffirm the ultimate utility of love and sacrifice.
Uwa also urged the people to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice and love which are the hallmarks of Easter.
He said, “Easter reminds us of the pain and suffering Our Lord Jesus endured for our redemption. Easter reaffirms the ultimate utility of love and sacrifice.
“The pain and sacrifice of today would usher in a brighter tomorrow. Let’s sacrifice for the redemption and restoration of our State so that it may flourish.
“Our Lord is risen and Abia would definitely rise again,” he stated.
