As the preparations for Nigeria’s general elections in 2023 intensifies, a group known as Concerned Ambassadors of Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency, has appealed to the Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu to join the race to represent the Constituency in 2023.
The group made their position known during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Speaker, saying that the lawmaker has done exceptionally well in redefining the representation of Ohafia South State Constituency.
They commended the lawmaker for his giant strides in infrastructural and human capacity development, noting that Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency needed a leader like Uchendu to give the Constituency a voice in the Green Chamber.
They pleaded with him to rain join the race in order to replicate his numerous achievements in the Constituency come 2023.
The Deputy Speaker in his response appreciated the group for their concern and assured them of his commitment to continue to serve the good people of Ohafia South State Constituency.
He further stated that 2023 remains in the hands of God and that His will be done in 2023.
The delegation was led by Mr. John Agu (Leader), Mrs. Mmeregini Orie (Women Leader), and Mr. Onuoha Agbai (Youth Leader).
