The Abia State chapter of Youth Democratic Party of Nigeria (YDPN), has on Tuesday declared that there would be no more recycling of old leaders who has made politics their career in the State and beyond.
The State Chairman of the party, Comr. Anthony Ekwubiri while speaking to journalists on Tuesday said, “Enough is Enough in Abia State, Abia State have all the potential to be among the best state in Nigeria, but Abia State has been rendered useless and miserable by the people we elect as leaders.”
He further said that YDPN is out to change the narratives as it is the only hope for Abians and Nigerians as a whole in 2023.
He said “the youths has awaken to change the narratives come 2023, and all those politicians who become multi- billionaires once they joined politics to lead the people will be retired from their political office come 2023. YDPN is on the mission to rescue and rebirth Abia State and Nigeria come 2023,” he added.
Furthermore, the media and publicity chairman, Hon. Okereke Nnamdi Nwafor while speaking on Tuesday also said that YDPN is out to recuse the poor masses out from the hands of evil leaders who only thinks about the well being of themselves and immediate family.
He said ” We all can see what we have in Abia today as our leaders has been the bedrock of our misfortunes, they don’t think about the well being of the masses who elected them into office but rather all their interests are for their own well being and that of their families, you can see that no signal comfortable educational institute in the state, but those we call leaders and elected into office, their children are in abroad and they are paying millions of dollars for their schooling, same thing in health sector, our state civil servants are dying daily out of starvation due to unpaid salaries for years, but this evil leaders don’t care.
“The time to end all this is now, I’m calling all responsible Abians most especially the Youths who want to end this suffering of our people to join force with the Awaken Moral Army of Youth, Youths Democratic Party of Nigeria (YDPN) as we press forward to liberate our people come 2023.
“It’s Youth o’clock let’s all Abia youths should take this advantage of our Party E-registration at (www.ydpnofficial.com) to become a registered member of the Awaken Moral Army of Nigerian Youth, ” he added.
