As part of its sensitization programme for Nigerians to exercise their voting rights, a sociopolitical group, Uwaoma Abia has charged Abians who have attained the age of 18 years to participate in the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The group stated this in a statement signed by its Director General, Mr Kalu O. Kalu (KOK) and made available to the press on Friday.
He reminded Abians on the importance of the exercise and charged eligible voters who have not registered to seize the opportunity by getting captured on INEC’s database and consequently obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
“Abians should seize the opportunity to obtain their PVCs, so as to be able to exercise their franchise in the run-up to the 2023 General Elections and in subsequent elections.
“Through the PVCs, we can elect credible and trusted leaders to pilot the affairs of Abia state. Uwaoma Abia is determined to help Abia state produce a selfless and hardworking governor. We cannot achieve this feet when people don’t register.
“Abians should endeavour to register and be part of the electoral processes in 2023.
