SAD: Young Master’s Holder Graduate From Ekpoma Shot Dead

A young female graduate of Ambrose ALLI University, EKPOMA Edo state, has been shot dead by suspected kidnappers targeting highways in Edo State.

The incident happened along Benin-Ehor road, Hatman Farms near Uruokosa, in Edo state.

The deceased, identified as Miss Ella Williams, holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Ambrose ALLI University, EKPOMA, Edo.

Information gathered reveals that she was on her way to the University when some Gunmen shot directly into the commercial vehicle she boarded from Ramat park in Benin city to Ekpoma.

According to reports, SG crime correspondent Festus Alenkhe learned that the armed men whose aim was to kidnap the occupants of the vehicle first opened fire into the moving car forcing the driver to stop.

But Miss Williams, who was hit by the stray bullets, died on the spot.

SG gathered that several persons were kidnapped in the process as the KIDNAPPERS have since made contacts with their family members for ransom.

A family member of the deceased who spoke said,” we were shocked when we got the news that our daughter had been killed on the road. This is sad news to the entire Williams family”.

Detectives have since stepped up investigation into the incident as adequate security has been provided for all the highways linking Edo.
