Unknown gunmen have allegedly attacked the country home of Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba, at Amangwu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area.
It was alleged that the gunmen invaded Amangwu on Monday evening, setting ablaze his palatial home, burnt all his cars and looted some valuables.
An unconfirmed news also has that the gunmen equally attacked his mother’s house.
Chief Olugu Ugba is the Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Special Duties. He is also the President General of Amangwu Ohafia Development Union.
Confirming the incident on a WhatsApp group monitored by THE WHISPERER, Chief Ugba alleged that his home was attacked by the proscribed members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
He stated that the group accused him of installing CCTV cameras around Amangwu community to monitor the activities of the group.
