WE HAVE LEFT THE UMBRELLA!!
Dear Brothers & Sisters of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency:
Today, I joined His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Sir Ben Ayade, my colleagues in the National Assembly and several other high-ranking dignitaries in our dear state to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
As His Excellency enumerated so eloquently this morning, we need to be in the mainstream of national politics viz-a-vis the ruling party at the centre, to bring home more of the desired democratic dividends to our people.
Because of the exigencies of the situation, there was little or no time to properly communicate this position to the good people of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency.
However, sooner than later, we shall convene a Town Hall Meeting to properly inform all constituents of our new situation. Until then, I implore all our supporters who showed so much loyalty and love to us while we were in our former party, the Peoples Democratic Party, to heed His Excellency’s directive to return to our various wards and register with the APC.
Today, I visited the APC party secretariat in my ward, Apiapum Ward, to register and properly join the party. I urge you all to do the same.
And let me assure you, my brothers and sisters, that no one will be left behind in our quest to bring home more democratic dividends to our State and Federal Constituency.
Thank you all.
Long live APC! Long live Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency!!
RT. HON. MIKE ETABA, MHR
