Senator Sati Davies Gogwim, who represented Plateau Central in the Senate between 2007 and 2011, has passed on at the age of 71.
He died Wednesday at Mayfield Medical Hospital, Jos, the state capital after an undisclosed ailment.
THE WHISPERER gathered that the deceased recently returned from the United Kingdom after receiving treatment for the ailment before he eventually passed on in Jos.
In his condolence message, Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong expressed sadness over Senator Godwin’s death, describing him as a patriotic Nigerian who gave the nation and Plateau State his very best at all times.
