Empowers participants with cash, fingerlings, fish etc.
The Honourable member representing the good people of Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Hon Barr Vincent Ekene Ofumelu sponsored training on fish production for his constituents, tagged SKILL ACQUISITION IN FISH PRODUCTION IN OYI / AYAMELUM FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, ANAMBRA STATE.
The skill acquisition training was done at Umoli village Hall, Umerum, Ayamelum local government on Thursday 4th March, 2021. The participants where drawn from all wards in Oyi and Ayamelum local government.
The participants where trained intensively on fish production and where empowered with cash, starter packs, fingerlings, fish and feeds to start up their fish farm.
Hon Ofumelu charged the participants to make use of the skill they have acquired as it will help to improve their living standard and eliminate poverty in their lives.
The participants expressed their joy by thanking Hon Ofumelu, for the training and pledged to make use of the acquired skill. they also prayed God to continue to bless and protect the law maker for Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency.
The training was anchored by Bio- Resource Development Centre, Ubulu uku (Probus Consultant Limited.)
Hon Ofumelu and his team also inspected the ongoing 6km Omor-Umerum road, as he expressed satisfaction on the level of the construction.
