Social Crusader, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has commended genuine men of God for presenting themselves as God’s project in the Vineyard.
He however, condemned the activities of majority of them, especially with the utterances of Apostle Johnson Suleiman of Omega Fire Ministries who was seen in a viral video boasting that he bought his third private jet during the covid-19 pandemic lockdown and that he was praying for the virus not to go.
According to Eholor, who is also the Global President of One Love Foundation, such statement from Apostle Suleiman is reckless and despicable from a supposed man of God.
“I am wondering why the government would not call characters like Apostle Suleiman to order; Suleiman should stop acting like an emperor and stop deceiving his gullible followers and congregation by milking them dry through tithes and offerings.
“Thousands of people flock to these so-called churches and make exorbitant contributions for these “men of God” to turn their misfortunes into everlasting happiness; all at the cost of sexual servitude and one’s dreams.
“How will Suleiman not buy the third private jet and pray for endless covid-19 pandemic, when the majority of his followers are paying him tithes through online payments in their lockdown, and in the midst of hunger and frustration?
“Go and buy the fourth jet my dear Apostle Suleiman! Whether the Youths get where to work or not, it is not your problem or concern.
“All you know is that; whenever, and wherever they get jobs, or involved in businesses, they must come and pay 10% of their total income to you.
They will also give you offerings generously, buy small bottles of anointing oil expensively from you. They can never be clever enough to say; no to the various levies you will levy on them from time to time – the imbeciles! Yes because, when you Apostle Suleiman speak in tongues, you are printing money.
Eholor further admonished Pastors who are not born again and were not called by God to repent and seek for forgiveness.
“The men of money and influence that are parading themselves as demigod should repent genuinely by giving their life to Christ.” He said.
